Private Sintra and Cascais Tour

Our adventure begins in Sintra, where we will explore the magnificent Pena Palace or Monserrate Palace (the guest chooses one of the palaces), two of the most famous buildings in Portugal. These vibrant palaces are perched on hilltops, surrounded by lush gardens, and offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding forests, hills, and the picturesque villages below.
After visiting one of the palaces, we will continue to the Colares region for a wine-tasting experience. Here, you will sample local wines made from unique grape varieties and learn about the region’s distinctive winemaking methods. The vineyards are planted in sandy soil near the beach, in a horizontal layout that is entirely different from what you are used to seeing.
Next, we will enjoy the breathtaking mountain views as we head toward the Sintra coast, stopping at the charming Azenhas do Mar for a delightful lunch. Our guides will help you choose the perfect restaurant, where you can savor authentic Portuguese cuisine, taste high-quality wines, and finish your meal with delicious local sweets.
After lunch, we will continue along the coast to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, an impressive viewpoint overlooking the Atlantic Ocean that will leave you speechless. As we drive along the coast to our final destination, we will pass by the stunning Guincho Beach and Boca do Inferno.
To end the day, we will visit Cascais, a charming coastal town on the Portuguese Riviera, where we will stop at the Cascais Fortress, offering breathtaking views of the bay and the entire coastal region.
