I can’t say enough about my experience on the tour with Pedro. I was in between different tours for a while but I’m super happy that I ended up picking this one. I would see other tours in the area but they could not compare to the smaller sized intimacy of this one. It was truly a memorable experience for my girlfriend and myself. Pedro was very knowledgeable about the area and had a great personality. Everything about the tour was fantastic from the boat ride (shared with another group but ours was the only one with the tour guide with us and wine), the restaurant with amazing views, large and family-owned wineries, and everything in between. Heck, he even dropped us off in Matosinhos for drinks, sunset, and a restaurant that he recommended. Again, not enough can be said and it was the perfect way to cap our trip to Portugal.

I cannot recommend Pedro enough. I never leave reviews but our experience was beyond fantastic. I know there are enough positive reviews here, but I cannot help but add another. Fun, personable, and memorable. Don't bother looking elsewhere, this is the tour you want.

Had such an amazing time on this tour - definitely was the highlight of our girls trip in Porto! Bruno was a great tour guide and tried to keep everyone social and excited throughout. Super easy to chat with and knows how to do his job well - was always happy to take pictures for us. He did a fantastic job safely driving through curvy and tight roads. All the wines, views and lunch were amazing. So much good bread, cheese & olive oil and a few surprises along the way. Lovely boat tour that was just the right amount of time. It was such a lovely time and the entire group ended up having so much fun together. Highly recommend this smaller tour for a more authentic feel and for the unlimited wine!

It was a spectacular day with Miguel, our tour guide! Miguel is an amazing tour guide and provided a very informative and fun experience that was very much appreciated! His expertise of the region, the wines, and the port left us with wanting nothing else. And, his photography is quite good as well! Can't say enough good things about Oporto Sensations Tour and Miguel! We did the Douro Valley Expert Boat Lunch Tastings Premium Service with Oporto Sensations Tour. You can't go wrong with booking a Douro Valley tour with them. You will get to experience the best the Douro Valley has to offer!

Terrific Experience!!
We not only spent a full day in the Douro Valley w Bruno Fonseca but, were lucky enough to get him the next day for a 1/2 day tour of Porto, as well. I can’t say enough good things about Bruno. He was very knowledgeable, funny, personable and sincere, but most of all, his love/pride for his home city of Porto was so evident. His pride came through in many ways - whether it was the food, the people, the buildings/monuments or the history - he told the heartfelt stories from a native of the City. We particularly loved how he showed us where his family lived; where he went to school or about his family, in general. Our tours w him were so personable - so authentic. I will most definitely recommend your company to others seeking to visit your beautiful country and will certainly tell them to ask for Bruno!! He’s terrific! We felt like his family

We had such a fantastic experience on our Douro Valley tour! Miguel was the perfect guide—he not only shared a wealth of knowledge about the region and its history, but he also had a knack for explaining things in a way that really connected with the group. He created a fun and engaging dynamic that made the whole day feel special. We were traveling with two kids (ages 9 and 3), and tours like this can sometimes be a challenge. Miguel went out of his way to make them feel included—offering juice, keeping the energy lively, and winning them over right from the start. It made a huge difference for our family. The second part of the tour was a highlight: an incredible local lunch spot with breathtaking views, followed by a visit to a family-owned vineyard. Both felt authentic, off the beaten track, and exactly the kind of hidden gems I never would have discovered on my own. I can’t recommend this experience highly enough and hope Miguel and the team have many more wonderful trips ahead

”Magical and High-Quality Tour of The Douro Valley”
Pedro was our tour guide, he was kind, gracious, knowledgeable of the Douro Valley and wine in general. He is very experienced with this tour and his enthusiasm was apparent. Our river cruise was stunning, and the landscape was breathtaking! We visited 2 separate Vineyards, one more modern and the another was older, and family owed. They were both special in their own unique way and it was nice to see the 2 different perspectives. Our lunch was amazing, and the view was priceless, on top of a mountain overlooking the Valley and River. If you are considering booking this tour, I highly recommend it. We were on a business trip and one of my colleagues (who is well versed in wine) book this tour for us, and it did not disappoint. Our colleagues booked a different/less expensive tour (NOT with Oporto Sensations Tours) and they were not happy with their tour with offered a lower quality wine. If you are taking a day tour to the Douro Valley do not at all hesitate to book the Oporto Sensations Tour – you have an unforgettable day and truly magical experience.
